Tips for Self Care

Self Care is SUPER important! Now more than ever.

  • Some of the ways I take care of myself include:
  • Indulging in a long bubble bath (bonus points for using a face mask!)
  • Taking a walk after dinner
  • Sitting outside on a nice day – barefoot with my toes in the grass (bonus points for watching the sunset)
  • Going to the library or to the coffee shop for dessert
  • Volunteering (filling someone else’s cup always seems to fill mine too) One of our favorite places to volunteer is FMSC.org.
  • Listen to an audiobook by a favorite narrator (I don’t know why, but sometimes it feels like spending time with an old friend) If you don’t have a favorite narrator yet, browse the bestseller charts in genres you enjoy, listen to samples and go from there!
